Lord Jagannatha, though regarded as a famous deity in Hindu pantheon, had attracted sincere devotees from all castes, creeds and religions. He symbolises secularism and true love, cutting across the narrow barrier of religion, bigotry and religious fanaticism which have threatened the very democratic fabric of this secular country.
