Dr. B. Prabhakar Rao (b. 1955) has been teaching public Administration for the last thirteen years. He obtained his Ph.D. degree (1985) from Kakatiya University, Warangal. At present he is a Reader and Head in the Department of Public Administration, University Post Graduate Centre Nirmal, Kakatiya University. He has published research articles in academic and professional journals of repute. An active researcher, he uides research scholars hailing from different aspects of discipline. For over the last 4 years Dr. B. Prabhakar Rao held other positions such as N.S.S. Programme Officer in the Kakatiya University and as a Councillor for P.G. Diploma in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations and Diploma in Rural Banking and Co-operation at the school of Distance Learning and Continuing Education, Kakatiya University as also at Ambedkar Open University (Andhra Pradesh), Hyderabad. He is one of the co-author of a popular Book for students at Under-graduation level covering common Core Syllabus of Public Administration at Andhra Pradesh.
