The present volume is an attempt to bring together, in systematic and generalized form, the main outline of a conceptual scheme for the analysis of the nature and structure of youth in different social systems. It contains the papers contributed by scholars from different countries in the world who participated in the World Congress of Youth in August 1986 at New Delhi and in the Research (RC 34) of the International Sociological Association. The work deals with the unusual aspects of the youth problems in the globe and how they are handled in solving those problems for a better society in the world. It provides a fund of knowledge to understand the development in the youth and world. The book begins with an introduction by the editor by giving the sociological theoretical background of youth, followed by a write-up about each of the paper. The coverage includes: Australia, USA, Africa, India, Bangladesh, Algeria, Romania, Bulgaria, and Czechoslovakian Societies.
