Dharamvir Singh Ahlawat (b. 1966) received his degrees of Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Physics from M.D. University, Rohtak (Haryana) India. His area of interest and specialization are laser physics and optical materials. He has a teaching and research experience of around eighteen years in laser physics.

At present he is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics, Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa, Haryana. Earlier, he has also worked as a founder incharge of the same department. He has published around forty research papers in reputed journals and conference proceedings. He has a life membership of Indian Laser Association, RRCAT, Indore and Indian Physics Association, BARC, Mumbai.
