To place an order, simply click on the order button against the appropriate book title. Use the shopping cart to select further titles and see the contents of your shopping cart. When you have finished shopping, click to checkout, and you will be asked to enter your delivery information and your credit card details.

- How can I contact an Author?
We cannot give out personal mail or email addresses for our authors. However, all author mail is forwarded directly to our authors via our publicity departments.

- How do I know if Mittal Publications will be interested in my proposal?
We welcome proposals from both established and first time authors, in the subject areas in
which we specialise. We publish mainly in humanities and social sciences, including art history,
history, religion, media studies, literature, politics, law , commerce, anthropology and
economics. But because we do specialise within these areas, we suggest that you browse
our catalogue to get a sense of our interests and then decide whether we seem to be the right
home for you. Most proposals are turned down because they simply do not fit our lists.
- How do I return a faulty book?
Purchased from a shop
We apologise for any errors that occurred during the printing process. For severe defects such as missing pages or improper binding, please return the book to the store where you purchased it and they will replace the copy.
Please note, Mittal Publications cannot replace books purchased from bookshops (as opposed to from our website). This is because we sell our stock to the bookshops and they are then responsible for dealing with any faulty products in accordance with their own returns policies.

If you are unhappy with any product you purchase on this website for any reason , you may return it to us in its original condition within 14 working days and we will provide a full refund only if the reason for the return is the result of our error, or if the item was damaged before it reached you.
To make a return please send the item securely wrapped, along with your packing slip and a letter giving the reason for the return.

We try and acknowledge our proposals within a week of receiving them. If we are interested it will
go out to two specialist reviewers and we will aim to come back to you with a decision within six
weeks. - Can I link my website to Mittal Publications?
Yes. Mittal Publications encourages authors to do this, and we are happy to provide technical assistance with the link. - Will I be able to have publicity material for my own use?
Yes. Our marketing department are happy to have requests to produce flyers for you take to conferences and on lecture tours.
